Alexander Akakievich Shavliashvili was born on June 30, 1988 in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg).

In 2022, he graduated from the Moscow Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Economics and Management.

In 2025, he graduated from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with a degree in Public and Municipal Administration (Master's degree).

Alexander Shavliashvili began his professional career in 2005 as a bartender-waiter in one of the restaurants in St. Petersburg. Then he worked as a manager and director of various restaurants.

In 2016, he was the general manager of the international restaurant holding Ginza Project in New York.

Since 2017, he has worked as the head of catering services for the FIFA 2018 Organizing Committee in St. Petersburg.

Since 2018, he has been a consultant for the organization of UEFA EURO 2020 events.

Since 2020 – Head of the organizing committee of the UEFA Champions League Final 2022.

Since 2018, he has been the founder and managing partner of the AGNA Group of companies, the operator of the Vasileostrovsky, Moskovsky and Maltsevsky markets in St. Petersburg. AGNA Group of companies also provides catering and cleaning services.

Since 2025, he has been Chairman of the Kazan Tourism Development Committee.

He was awarded a letter of thanks from the President of the Russian Federation for his significant contribution to the preparation and holding of the FIFA World Cup and a letter of thanks from the Director General of the FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee (both in 2018).
